COACHING TOMORROW’S SUCCESS

Who should attend?

Senior managers, decision makers, heads of department and staff responsible for training who will be guided to tailor-make the mentorship programme for your organisation.  Experienced and/or successful staff who will act as mentors.  New employees or staff newly appointed into promotional positions and staff who are not yet reaching best practice targets or adhering to the standard operating procedures of the company.

Introduction to the course

Aristotle said: “What we need to learn to do, we learn by doing it.” This has never been more true than in today’s fast-paced world where productivity and profitability cannot wait for employees to learn before they do.

Research has also shown that active learning is faster and more effective. Implementing a mentorship programme means that companies do not have to sacrifice productivity while up-skilling their employees.

The mentorship programme is cascaded through three tiers: firstly a combination of managers, decision makers, heads of departments and training staff will be introduced to the principles and procedures of implementing a mentorship programme. During this phase the process will be tailor-made to your company’s needs. Evaluation benchmarks will be set so that you can monitor the success / impact of the programme.

Once mentors have been identified or have volunteered, they will be trained in the ideal approach to mentorship and informed of the process to be followed. Mentees will be identified or apply after which they will be informed how the process works.

Once the mentorship programme has launched, there should be regular feedback and we can continue to assist you during the start-up phase to ensure that the desired approach is followed and the envisaged results are achieved and sustained.
